Davina is dedicated to the loving memory of Angelica, whose courage, love and sacrifice shaped my life from an early age.Inspired by her memory, Davina is a tribute to the sacred feminine—to love, courage, and the resilience that lives within every woman.

Artist Bio

Davina: A Mask That Became a MirrorDavina began as a mask.Over time, she became a mirror. What started as a character evolved into something much deeper: an archetype for heartbreak, longing, resilience, and the contradictions that shape us.Davina’s origins lie in performance, but the songs themselves are rooted in truth.Behind every lyric is a search for meaning within love, loss, regret, obsession, survival, and transformation. The music explores emotional territory that is often difficult to speak about openly—the places where beauty and pain become inseparable. At the heart of the project is a simple belief:The things that break us often become the things that save us.Blending electronic pop, dance music, cinematic production, and deeply confessional songwriting, Davina creates music that feels equally at home on a dancefloor, through headphones at midnight, or during life’s most difficult moments. The songs embrace paradox because life itself is full of paradox.Strength and vulnerability.
Love and destruction.
Hope and despair.
The mask and the person behind it.
Davina exists for anyone who has ever felt too much, loved too deeply, carried invisible wounds, or searched for a place where they truly belong.Because sometimes the most beautiful things are found in the broken pieces.

David Jackson Harlin is a multidisciplinary artist working across transformative makeup artistry, mask character design, and experimental music production. He creates cinematic emotional worlds where visual transformation and sound intersect, exploring identity, fragmentation, suffering, and renewal through character-driven storytelling and immersive composition. At the centre of his debut album Davina: Sound of Angels is Davina—a lived vocal presence within the music and a symbolic archetype of emotional survival and transformation, through which personal experience becomes a shared internal language of resilience, vulnerability, and rebirth.
